Blank Rome's ancestry harks back to 1947, when "a phone call and a handshake formed the

Blank Rome offers a full range of litigation services, from ADR to toxic tort litigation. The firm's expertise elsewhere, however, has also been a draw in luring in high-profile litigators. In September 1999, for example, the firm snared former Assistant U.S. Attorney Alan M. Lieberman. Commenting on his lateral move, Lieberman noted to The Legal Intelligencer that he "wasn't looking to leave," but "the opportunity to work with Blank Rome's strong corporate finance and transactional practices was too great for a trial lawyer such as myself to pass up."
