iWon and King World Team-up for iWon Annual Announcement
(Irvington, NY April 15, 2002) – iWon, the leading loyalty portal, today announced that its third Annual Sweepstakes winner will be revealed this week on the King World produced and distributed hit game show, Hollywood Squares.
Tom Bergeron, Hollywood Squares’ Emmy award-winning host, will announce the name of an iWon winner during each broadcast of Hollywood Squares from April 15th through the 19th. Four winners of electronics and trips will be announced each weekday, with the Annual $1 million winner’s name announced on Friday, April 19th.
On Monday, April 22nd, King World’s award-winning newsmagazine Inside Edition will air a segment of the winner the moment they find out that they have won the $1 million, as well as footage of that person trying to increase their $1 million prize to $25 million.
King World has had a longstanding relationship with iWon. Over the last two years, partnerships and promotions have been forged between iWon and Hollywood Squares, Inside Edition and The Ananda Lewis Show.
In addition to the nightly announcement on Hollywood Squares and the segment on Inside Edition, promotional units on King World programming, as well as advertising units on the iWon site will also support the sweepstakes.
