iWon.com CEOs are Named Entrepreneurs of the Year
Ernst & Young Presents Bill Daugherty and Jonas Steinman with Prestigious Award

Irvington, NY, June 16, 2000 - Bill Daugherty and Jonas Steinman, Founders and Co-CEOs of iWon.com, one of the fastest growing websites in the history of the Internet, were awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award(r) last night. The regional award honors entrepreneurs' unique and interesting success stories. Characteristic of winning the award was an entrepreneur's ability to grow his/her company from a concept to a business whose success can be measured in a variety of ways as far surpassing others in the industry.

A year and a half ago over lunch, Daugherty and Steinman brainstormed the idea for iWon. The business model for iWon.com was simple - combine the established successes of Internet portals with the proven marketing concept of sweepstakes, to create something informative and entertaining for Internet users. Virtually every click on the iWon site qualifies iWon users for the site's daily, weekly, monthly and annual cash giveaways.

Three months after their mid-January lunch, with more than $100 million in capital secured, Daugherty and Steinman left their jobs at the National Basketball Association and Chase Capital Partners, respectively.

"On behalf of the entire iWon team, Jonas and I are thrilled," said Daugherty. "Winning among such a distinguished group is quite an honor."

"User feedback on the site has been wonderful," said Steinman. "The added recognition of such a prestigious organization makes all our hard over the past fifteen months worthwhile."
