iWon and Inside Edition Sign Deal to Continue Monthly Millionaire Announcements
(Irvington, NY January 16, 2001) – Internet portal iWon (www.iwon.com), one of the fastest growing websites in the history of the Internet, today announced that the longest running nationally syndicated newsmagazine show Inside Edition will continue to unveil the name of the iWon monthly million dollar winner. Inside Edition has exclusively announced the monthly $1 million iWon winner since September 2000. Based on the positive feedback from users, both parties chose to renew the relationship through Inside Edition's 2001 season.
Inside Edition will continue to have exclusive rights to cover the selection process. The show will also get behind the scenes access to building the winners’ homepages and all of the details that go into naming someone an iWon millionaire.
The exclusive broadcast of iWon’s January million dollar winner announcement is scheduled on Inside Edition for Monday, February 12, 2001. Users can also check the iWon site after the broadcast to see the name of the latest iWon millionaire.
