Irvington, NY, April 11, 2000 - Internet portal iWon, one of the fastest growing websites in the history of the Internet, today announced the names of four participants eligible for the iWon $10 Million Annual Tax Day prize. The $10 million prize, in addition to three other significant prizes, will be awarded during the iWon.com Annual $10 Million Giveaway show set to air live on the CBS Television Network on April 15 at 8-8:30PM ET (delayed PT).

The participants include: a first generation American whose family emigrated from Vietnam after the War; a middle-aged woman from Georgia who drives a school bus for children with special needs; a young former Army National Guard private aspiring to go to college; and a man is his early 40's recently forced to retire from work because of a back injury.

Hosted by Leeza Gibbons, the special will capture the excitement of awarding $11 million in cash prizes - one of the largest cash giveaways in television history!

One of the four participants will be awarded the iWon Sweepstakes $10 Million Annual Grand Prize, another participant will receive the iWon.com $1 million March Monthly prize, and the remaining two participants will receive either a brand new 2000 Mercedes-Benz SLK-class Convertible sponsored by Autoweb.com (NASDAQ: AWEB) or a seven-day trip for four to Hawaii sponsored by Travelocity.com plus $25,000 in spending money.

For at-home viewers, there will be a "Win for Watching" element to the program where three lucky viewers (one watching the ET/CT broadcast, one watching MT, and one watching the PT broadcast) will each win $50,000.

The participants were picked at random from among iWon's users. They are:

Lee Truong, a 24 year-old student from San Jose, CA who was shocked when told he might soon be $10 million richer. "Oh my God, Oh my God, Oh my God," he said, then buried his head in his hands. Lee, who is a first generation American, is studying at San Jose State University to be a graphic designer.

Georgia Ann Vanator is from Blue Ridge, Georgia. Georgia, a self-described nature lover, drives a school bus for children enrolled in special education programs. "Even if I win, I will finish out the school year - I like the kids."

Twenty-year old Dave Achenbach from Bangor, PA, fell to the ground upon hearing the news that he was one of the four contestants. Dave says, with or without the $10 million, he still wants "to go to college and one day become a police officer."

George Tice Jr., of Martinez, CA, found out he would be a participant while house hunting in Oregon. Having just retired in his early 40's due to back problems, George intends on buying a house in Oregon with his wife.

"We are thrilled to welcome each participant into the iWon family of winners," commented Bill Daugherty founder and co-CEO of iWon. "It is going to be an exciting night watching these four people's lives change for the better."

The special will be shot live at Studio 46 in Television City in Los Angeles, and the audience will include several of iWon's $10,000 Daily winners and all five of iWon's previous Monthly $1 million prize winners. Each of the four participants will be profiled through one-on-one interviews, hometown messages and pre-packaged segments. The show will culminate with the awarding of the $10 million prize.
