Belgium Half and Half
Belgium, sandwiched between France on the west and south, and Germany and Holland on the east and north, is a country of two languages and two cultural influences: French and Flemish.
Though each group has distinctive cuisines, the blending of those influences into various national dishes like Mussels with Chips (Moules et frites) and Carbonade (Beef braised in beer) is what creates true Belgian cuisine.
