| | | Symptoms | | | | | Symptoms of liver cancer typically don't appear in the early stages of the disease, except for patients with cirrhosis who may exhibit rapid onset of symptoms. But for those without cirrhosis, symptoms are often noticed after the cancer has metastasized to another part of the body. Signs pointing to liver cancer include:
- Yellowing of the eyes and skin (jaundice)
- Fever of unknown origin
- General malaise
- Absence of tendon reflexes in the skin
- Limb weakness
- A hard lump underneath the rib cage where the liver has swollen
- Pain around the right shoulder blade
- Pain and tenderness in the upper right abdominal region
- Pain radiating to the back
- Abdominal fullness or bloating
- Loss of appetite
- Weight loss
