| | Symptoms of rectal cancer may include the following:
- A change in bowel habits, including diarrhea or constipation, or alternating between the two
- Blood in the stool
- Jet-black stool
- Stomach pain or cramping
- Bloated feeling in the abdominal or bowel region
- Weight loss
- Loss of appetite
- Weakness
