 Topical Chemotherapy
 Topical chemotherapy is the use of anticancer drugs in a cream or lotion applied to the skin. The precancerous skin condition actinic keratosis (characterized by rough, red or brown scaly patches) can be treated with the anticancer drug fluorouracil (also called 5-FU). This treatment also can be used for cancers limited to the top layer of skin.
