LEARNLETS
How can I get rid of nasty black stains in my pots?
One of the easiest ways to remove the black, burned stains is to cook them out. Use the pot to prepare spaghetti sauce, or any other tomato-based dish. The natural acid in the tomatoes, along with the cooking heat, cleans the pot right up. Much easier than scrubbing!

For the white stains caused by hard water, try using citric acid. Put one or two tablespoons in your dishwasher (or dish water).
