LEARNLETS
How do I thaw frozen bread?
Freezing is a good way to store bread, and you can thaw it in several ways:
  • Leave in its wrapper at room temperature (a loaf will thaw in 2 to 3 hours).
  • Wrap in aluminum foil and place in a preheated 400F (184C) oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Place in a brown paper bag on the defrost setting of your microwave for 4 to 8 minutes.
Frozen sliced bread may be toasted without thawing.
