What fun thing can I do with fortune cookies at a party I'm throwing? |

A really fun thing to do when you're throwing a party is to insert your own messages into fortune cookies. Here's how:
1. Buy a bag of fortune cookies at a market with enough so that each guest will receive at least one.
2. If possible, buy fortuneless cookies. These are just what they sound like, fortune cookies with nothing inside.
3. If you can't find the fortuneless kind, use a pair of tweezers (or scissors with thin blades) to carefully remove the fortunes from each cookie. This takes patience, as you must be careful not to damage the cookie in the process.
4. Now comes the really fun part, for you get to play the role of fortune teller. To do so, type a one line message onto white paper. It's up to you what you want the message to say. It can be a prediction of the future or a funny, personal reference.
5. Now, cut the message from the paper, making a long, rectangular fortune strip.
6. Use your tweezers or scissors to carefully place the strip into the cookie.
7. Repeat this process so that each guest gets a specially made cookie.
8. Remember, the fun part is watching your guests' reactions when they open their cookies.
