What's an easy way to defrost my freezer? |

Turn off the freezer, open its door, and position a fan in front of it. Let the air circulate inside, and it will evaporate the ice with no drippy mess.

Dislodge the ice with a water gun, preferably a Super Soaker pumpable type, that's filled with hot water (use only what the tap can naturally provide, don't boil it). This will get that nasty ice off in a snap, as you can direct the hot water where it's needed. The downside to this is you have to use extra towels and keep an eye on the water tray, as a lot of excess water is generated. If you don't mind sacrificing messiness for increased speed then this is the method for you!
