How can I remove onion smell from my hands after chopping? |
Before you touch onions, rub a bit of lotion or vaseline on your hands. This will help your hands stay odor-free.
After you're done cutting, try washing your hands with cold water and a little salt. Another method that works is to rub your hands on a stainless steel utensil (like a spoon--or the knife if you're very careful) while holding them under running water.
Or you can wipe your hands with a rag you've dampened in white vinegar. You can also use white vinegar to get the onion smell out of your chopping block.
