LEARNLETS
How can I remove rust from a wok?
If your wok is a nonelectric with nonstick surface: first heat the wok. Much of the rust may turn to ash. Then scour the remaining rust with a fine pumice stone and toothpaste. That failing, try using the type of steel brush you would use on a barbeque. Of course, you need to re-season it with oil after all this. Another possibility is to fire it up with an oil that burns at a very high temperature.
