LEARNLETS
How do I remove the liquid from canned tuna fish?
Pour tuna from the can into a strainer or collander and press it with the back of a spoon to squeeze the liquid out. If you want to eliminate a lot of salt, first rinse the tuna quickly by running the strainer under cold running water before pressing out the liquid.

1. Remove the lid with a can opener.
2. Place the loose lid back on top of the tuna in the can.
3. Invert the can over a sink or bowl, holding it at an angle.
4. Press the lid with your fingers back into can, squeezing the liquid out of tuna.
5. When no more liquid comes out with further squeezing, turn the can right side up and remove the lid with a fork.
6. Remove the tuna from the can with a fork, spoon, or your fingers.
