How do I clean dry, stuck-on food from the inside of my microwave oven? |

Your microwave will be easier to clean once you steam it up.
- Fill a coffee mug or Pyrex measuring cup about 3/4 full with water. (Add either a small piece of lemon, or a bit of baking soda to the water to remove any smells.)
- Place the mug or measuring cup in the microwave and heat it on high for one minute and 30 seconds or until the water starts to boil.
- Leave the mug or cup in the microwave for 20 to 30 minutes without opening the door.
- Wipe down the inside of your microwave with a dish sponge.
