LEARNLETS
How do I store chestnuts before and after cooking them?
To keep them from drying out or turning moldy, fresh chestnuts should be refrigerated in a plastic bag poked with air holes. Once you've roasted or cooked your chestnuts and let them cool to room temperature, you can refrigerate them in airtight jars for up to a month, or freeze them for up to a year.
