How do I set my refrigerator to the right temperature? |
|
 |
One common waste of money is a refrigerator that's actually doing more cooling than necessary. To set your fridge to the right temperature levels, do the "dairy drill." Put a quart of milk in the main cooler, and a pint of ice cream in the freezer, then tinker with the settings. When you can easily scoop the ice cream and the milk tastes neither too tepid nor too chilly, you're at the right levels.
