How can I cook the right amount of spaghetti? |
|
 |
To avoid making too much spaghetti than you need, here's a literal rule of thumb that really works: make a circle by touching the tip of your index finger to the first joint of your thumb (not to the tip of your thumb). The amount of pasta that can fit in that circle is your average serving size. If you have kids, you can use this method as a game to help them contribute--let them measure out their own portions.
