How can I keep hot grease from spattering all over me and my stove? |
|
 |
Try one or more of the following:
1. Add a little salt to the pan before you start cooking.
2. Tip the pan away from you when you are adding food to it, so that the grease pools on the opposite side of the pan.
3. Pat meat or vegetables dry before putting them into a hot pan: adding water will make the grease spatter.
4. Put a metal colander upside-down over the pan while it's cooking.
