How can I get rid of baked-on grease and food from pans and dishes? |
|
 |
Most food and grease can be removed from your pans and casserole dishes in a few easy steps:
1. Sprinkle powdered dishwasher detergent in the pan.
2. Fill with hot water, and let it soak for a few hours.
3. Wipe clean.
If there's some stubborn food or grease still remaining, follow these steps to remove it:
1. Take a paper towel and wet it with ammonia.
2. Cover the dirty area with the paper towel. Pat it into place.
3. Place the pan in a plastic bag and seal it shut with a twist tie. Put it aside for a few days.
4. When you unseal it to wash, the grease will lift right off. With just a gentle scrubbing, the pan will sparkle.
