Is it safe to travel while I'm pregnant?
Make sure you talk to your obstetrician or midwife before making travel arrangements. They'll have advice about your dietary needs and also which vaccinations you'll need, or should steer clear of, if you're traveling to a foreign country. Your third trimester is the safest time for you and your baby-to-be to travel, but not when it gets too close to your due date. Be especially careful about the water or other fluids you drink while traveling abroad, and don't eat or drink any unpasteurized dairy products.
