Plan a Family Reunion
(7 steps)
|
|
It's all relative

Missin' cousins? Bet they're missing you, too. It's a big world, and it seems like one thing holds true for most families in it: they're scattered. Fortunately, there's a tried-and-true way to bring them together. It's called a family reunion, and you can make one happen.
Planning a family reunion requires a lot of organization and communication, but doing it is fun and can be unbelievably rewarding. (Hint: You don't have to do the whole thing yourself--that's what all those cousins are for!) This 2torial will give you some general guidelines for planning and enjoying a memorable, meaningful meeting of your clan.
Before you begin
Bringing people together starts with locating everyone. A complete address book is essential. If yours has gaps, ask other family members for help.
As you plan, try to make it as easy as possible for people to come. A reunion that's too expensive, too far from where most family members live, or too sudden can deter your relatives from coming. And what's the point of a family reunion with no family?
