Hometown: Hot Springs, North Carolina Occupation: I am the co-owner (with my husband) and webmistress of MaxPatch Ink Supplies. Family Members: Phil, my fantastic hubby, my beautiful daughter Angela, and my step-daughters Lisa and Dana. I also have 6 adorable grandchildren.
"This is like Christmas in June! I've been so numb since I heard the news, I'm sick to my stomach with excitement! Winning is going to take away all the money-stress for my husband and me... he's a respiratory therapist, but now he can cut way down on his hours from working at the hospital and put nearly all of his time into our business. My husband and I run our own Internet business -- we sell ink -- from our log cabin. We live in a very remote area. It's about 45 minutes to the grocery store, and our township has only about 1,000 people. Our entire county only has 17,000 people! We have some neighbors that live a few hundred yards from our cabin, but besides that there's no one within a half-mile of us. We moved here from Orlando three years ago to escape it all... With some of the money, I think I'll get another car. I also want a brush mower to tear down briars and stuff. And of course, some of the money will be for our business. I also plan to donate some to our Volunteer Fire Department... they cover a large area. We already give to United Way, and our Chamber of Commerce's annual fund. A friend told me about iWon -- I think I started using it back in November, around the same time we started up our business. We have two computers and two phone lines. We're Internet junkies for sure! I have iWon as my home page, and I use it every day. Well, not today -- I can't sit down I'm too excited! For anyone who has been using iWon for a long time and has thought of quitting because they didn't think they could win, this should give you hope. Hey, I'm proof that it really happens!"
