Zwinky Prom 2009 Theme Revealed!

Hey Zwinksters! Before I announce this year's Zwinky Prom Theme, I just want to give a shoutout to everyone who submitted theme ideas. It was a difficult choice, especially since there were a boatload of really creative ideas and you were so passionate about your ideas. We love the passion! Keep it coming!

Those of you who're following us on Twitter have already heard the news from Ms. Information. So I don't keep the rest of you waiting and without any further adieu, I'm very excited to announce that this year's prom theme is Around the World!.

We think this year's theme and all the new fashions coming to Z Avenue this week have something to offer everyone!

(We've even slipped in a little something that all you fellow rabid Twilight fans will appreciate). But that's all we'll reveal for now, you'll have to wait or try to figure out the locations yourselves. And of course, keep coming back and make sure you join us on Twitter to get more details!

So in the meantime, book your flights, dig out your passports, find a date, and start planning your styles with an eye toward adding some international flavor. Zwinky's Prom Around the World is right around the corner!

...fa fa fa fa fa, fa fa fa fa. Too much alliteration?!? Okay, maybe. But we're still psyched for the change of season in Zwinktopia and are happy to kick it off with Festive FunFest!

Please go check out the many redecorated rooms in Zwinktopia and enjoy all the soothing seasonal tunes. And, of course, if you haven't already visited Deck the Halls, go there now to get the latest seasonal clothes and room decorations to show off your holiday spirit.

It's that time of year again. To get you in the spooky spirit for the upcoming Shocktoberfest, we've opened The Skeleton's Closet.

There's an awesome mix of costumes that'll be sure to tickle your inner goofball or scare the begeezus out of your fellow fright-lovers. Personally, I'm still torn... possessed zombie, can of beans or uber-peppy drag cheerleader? Decisions, decisions!

Also, make sure you pick up some Halloween decorations to get your room ready for the season.

Meanwhile, we're still busy remodeling one of your favorite Zwinktopia locations for the big Shocktoberfest event, set to begin on Tuesday, Oct. 28th.

Be sure to stop at Stage Z to learn more about the upcoming Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds Concert DVD. While you're there, be sure to grab some free, new Hannah Montana gear at the kiosk in the lobby.

After you check out the trailer and clips from the DVD, go ahead and visit the Hannah/Miley profile page and add them as friends.

Hmmm...cool videos and free gear. That really is the best of both worlds!

Zwinky Wants You...

...to join its team for the summer. Yes, we're hiring summer interns! If you're interested in a chance to work with Miss Anastasia, Miss Cosmopolitan, Mr. Foxtrot, and me, you can find the job description here. Summer interns must live in the Westchester, NY area and be at least 16 years old.

As a summer intern, you'll be helping the team plan upcoming events and features, help with user outreach, and see what it takes to keep Zwinky humming!

If you're already on MonsterTRAK or Hotjobs, you can find the postings there here and here, respectively.

Zwinkies who don't live in the area and/or are under 16, we'll have an opportunity for you to help with Zwinky, too. Stay tuned!
